Windstop/deflector problems?

Just traded in for new 06' Boxster S and lost my windstop either thieves? or did it blow off?:eek: anyone know how much to replace or a good website to order one?

Welcome, and sorry to hear your bad news.

If you are sure it blew off (you are, aren't you :rolleyes:) then see if it can be replaced under warranty as that little piece of plastic is quite expensive. The original version was on the order of $400 or so and I'd imagine the new ones are priced similarly.
 
Pretty sure. I never leave the car with the top down unattended. Yeah hopefully that will be covered?

Sorry to hear about your windstop and congrats on your new '06 boxster S. I plan to purchase one later this summer. Any thoughts on 18 inch versus 19 inch tires? Also, what were your must have options?
 
not too picky here

sorry not too picky on options. I preferred the look of the carrera S wheels and if you get sand beige interior get some mat protectors! It's a great car!
 
wow do I feel dumb

It was right behind the seats in that nook that gets made when the top is up. I just never thought to look there til now I thought it was gone! I still wonder when it came off now???

Surprisingly, the best color mats to get would actually be black as there's a bit of that color in the interior. I have a set of Lloyd's black mats for my Natural Brown interior. They go great and after 5 years still look like new. More importantly they hide the dirt quite nice!
