This is for a friend of mine who is looking for a Boxster for around $25K.

Perferbly...

- in the SF Bay Area (or reasonable driving distance)
- with complete service records
- owned by a Babblers

Please email paulsha911@gmail.com if you have one for sale.

Thanks.

Paul

What year and equipment is this person looking for?

I have a guards red/savannah beige/black '99 that I have been contemplating selling. It has ~48K miles and is in excellent condition.
It would definitely fit into your friends budget.:)
I can give you more specifics about equipment, tires, brakes etc. if interested.

I am the friend !!

Hi Dan,

Got around to get my self registered so that I do not have to write through Paul.

Basically I am searching for a good well keept Boxster with a decent mileage, to get me started in the world of driving Porsche. So a 99 with 48K Miles is just at the edge of that envolope. Then again it depend on what extras is in it and what price we can agree on.

Ohh and I promized my vife that she could get a veto on colours, so could you send me pictures of it?

/Lars
- Not yet a Porsche owner, hopefully it will change soon :)

Obviously, Lars still need some training from the Babblers on proper "spouse management". :D

Hi Lars,
I have a 1997 Boxster in Blue Turquoise and Black interior. Email me at oldskuracer@gmail.com for more info. I have a couple pictures if you like. Otherwise, I have a small picture in my profile icon.

As I recall Blue Turquoise is a pretty rare color. It's not even listed in Yoseif's Boxster Gallery other than by clicking in the "Other Colors" link at the bottom of the page.

I like the color. Remember Guy in Belmont? What color was THAT blue? Royal Blue?

I think it was indeed Royal Blue with Natural Brown interior though it's hard to tell from this picture as it was overcast.

I love all Porsche Blues!

I was rather shocked at a BMW Z4 I saw the other day... it was Army Green! Not that funky Mint-Chartreuse Green they offered on the Z3, this was US Army issue all the way! I got a really bad phone pic, just because I thought it was so odd. I think the only way to make it look worse would be camouflage! :(

Blue Blue Blue

Wow that Blue Carerra looks great. If I ever wanted to get a Carerra, I'd get one in that color... or the same color as my Boxster. Would that be too much for one person?
The photo attached is a Blue Turquoise Boxster found in Florida.

Sorry guys. I think Glacier White is the best. I owned 3 996s in Artic Silver but now I'm a true GW convert. Easy color to take care of as well... I hate those swirl marks...
