BOXSTER S decal/badge placement

Hi.

I'm wondering if someone can help me out here. I recently purchase a new Boxster S decal for the rear of my car, as the existing one had become cracked somehow. Anyhow I took measurements of where the existing one was and removed it. after cleaning off the double sided tape and compounding the paint underneath I could not locate the measurements anywhere. Must have blown away or the dog ran off with them.

Thing is I want to try put it exactly where it should be. I'm not sure the distance the bottom of the decal should be from the lip of the door OR the correct distance between the 'r' of the Boxster and the 'S'

Anybody with a genuinely positioned Boxster S decal want to help?

i don't know if this will make sense of not, but measure 3/4 of an inch up from the trunk on the flat part of the B and the S and you will be very close. position the beginning of the S right under where the r ends, but up the 3/4".

yep, much easier to wax and clean....no more catching the towel on the edge of the letters. I went with the naked look and never regretted it...:eek:

considering doing the same to the C2 very soon.

Mine had the "tail" broken off so I ordered a new one. Put it on, was VERY careful around it, and even so I snapped the "tail" off of it about a year later. I'm going to remove it for good this year (soon).

I was actually thinking of putting another badge there like on the front boot.........I've never seen one that way.

Hey... That might look good. However it will get harder to tell the front from the back of the car!!!!!! Mine's a black Boxster lable on Lapis Blue so it's hard to see what it says anyway.
