Nah... it's too close. I'm getting new tire(s). If it hadn't come out the other side, I would've tried for just a repair, but I don't think they can (or would) repair the inner side (where the nail comes out).
 
you just want a new tire...again for AX'ing...hahahahaha!

I'd let them dismount the tire and see if they can use a stem patch on it. I know others that have had this done and gone right back out on the track with it.

Thanks Tom. Something to think about. I'll see if I can manage to make that happen. Will be a big difference for the bank account obviously.
