I got the whole spoiler assembly off eBay for $20 from a guy who was parting out his Arctic Silver Boxster. He advertised it as painted on but it isn't it is a decal the upside being the Arctic Silver top piece is like new and mine had some chips in it. You can get the decals on eBay for around $15 so getting the whole unit for $20 wasn't a bad deal. I think there is an auction for the decal on now and if I can find it I'll post a link. Here you go I found it $12.95+shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pors...ccessories?hash=item1c0e0efa05#ht_1751wt_1167Very nice...
Where did you find that?
Is it an adhesive tape?
I would be very interested in getting one.
Thanks Jack
You can see it all right and it's kind of funny because the first time it came up when I passed someone they stopped at the station I stopped at and asked me what 986 stood for, they had been trying to figure out the meaning of it for miles and even speculated it was a code for something. We all had a good laugh when I told them what it meant.Oh, I personally know those driving behind will see it.Before I bought the decal, I actually saw a couple of folks while driving on the freeway with the same decal as mines on their Boxsters. It was pretty easy to see it on their car and pretty clear. I've experienced this while driving my regular sedan with a taller height and the Boxster. I thought it was a nice little addition to the looks, and decided to purchase one for myself.
I don't think the 2003+ spoiler is that much different in height than the 986 ones, no? They actually look pretty much the same to my humble eyesight.
