ECU tuning in SF Bay Area

Is there anyone doing 986 ECU tuning in the SF Bay area? I want to remove redline and possibly optimize tuning for race gas.

Grant, check with "The Racers Group" (TRG).
I think they're in Petaluma
 
You might also check out DynoSpot Racing in San Jose. ( www.dynospotracing.com/parts.html#giac ) They are the local dealer for GIAC which is a pretty well respected ECU software company. Some years ago I saw them work on a 986 S. They were in direct contact with Garret at GIAC, getting custom software for the customer's mods. It was a pretty impressive effort, but ultimately unsuccessful because of a fundamentally flawed aftermarket air intake that had been installed by another shop.

Good tip! Thanks! Forgot about them. They did my Audi for me several years ago.
 
Went to Dynospot. We worked with GIAC and there is now a custom ECU Flash that allows 2.5 liters to run up to 7500 RPM and use race gas! Vroom vroom!:D
