Did a search and thanks to those who contributed to the old posts, I found Mike Focke's site which gives you all you need.

I went with a Costco (Kirkland) group 48, fitment code 10. Call around as not all Costcos in the Bay Area stocked these. Costco in N San Jose has them.

$70 beats the heck out of $237 from Porsche stealer. Bring your old one with you for the $9 core credit. Warranty is great too. 36 month replacement. 100 month prorated which means you get credit towards a new one. Hang on to your receipt.

The new battery is a tad smaller than the original. Just move the battery clamp up to the next bolt hole and everything is perfect. Make sure the vent tube package is attached to the battery you buy. You will need this to connect the vent tube.

Time to get out and enjoy this nice weather we have. My excuse will be battery testing for at least 3 hours.

The S model came with a bigger battery than the non S. Most dealers replace the Porsche battery with an Interstate MTP-91. That battery is the smaller size but has the same power as the larger battery. The Costco battery is probably the same deal.
