Six hours on the Monterey Peninsula Porscheplatz May 20-22, 2010

Yes, I will be there all day Friday/Saturday @ the Porsche Corral/Porscheplatz....I will be hanging around the "Flying Lizards Porsche Team" paddock!

Have it posted on the Babblers calendar. I would not miss this race, last year in Oct was pretty exciting!! :)
 
That is exactly what I am wanting to do. Where did you get your tickets? I sent an email to Sharon just a few hours ago. Also where is everyone staying? Sounds like a fun time :D
 
We made reservations for Friday night a long time ago at the Beach Resort just minutes from the track. Beach Resort is close to the Embassy Suites on Canyon Del Rey Blvd off Highway 1..from there it is straight to the track.

Hotels fill up fast! We have learned in the past to make reservations well in advance (like a year) to get the best rate. If you plan to stay the night start searching soon for a hotel.

Porscheplatz/Corral ALMS Tickets were purchased online on the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca website.

PORSCHE ONLY CAR CORRAL PASS AND 3-DAY ADMISSION TICKET, vehicle will not be allowed unless it is a PORSCHE into this car corral area, you will be directed to general parking. Space is limited, Maximum 150 cars.

Friday is a good day...kinda quite, see practice laps and good way to meet the teams and car drivers.
If one day...I would go on Saturday to see the ALMS race...Flying Lizards Porsche Team and other Porsche teams. :cool:

Dedeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I finally have a break...elena and I are going this Saturday to this event. A friend of mine gave us 2 paddock pass :-)

we will be there till 5 or 6 and head to Monterey for dinner and watch the sun goes down..hehehehe!

Be sure to go to Flying Lizards and TRG (The Racers Group) and Falken Tire, I will be over by the paddock/pit area most of the day and at the Porscheplatz tent/corral area on the other side of the bridge/track.

BTW, I am planning on doing the Porsche parade lap on Sat @ 11:50 am - 12:15 pm around the track, be sure to take pictures, look for me!!

dede...i don't have yuor cell #...I change my cell phone and the stupid smart phone is not so smart catching some of my contacts..orrrrrrr...it's the user...hehehehehe!

efren, what time are you planning to leave? wifey and i are leaving around 8:30 or 9 and head for quick breakfast...let me know if you want to meet somewhere...wait a minute, my car is not worthy to be seen next to yours...hehehehehe!

I would love to leave around 6 or 7 but I waking up wifey that early is like waking up a bear :eek: :D:D:D

sure, I will call you when we get there and yes, i still have your number. I'm meeting one of our vendor there too coz' his brother is racing that weekend.

once we are all there, let's all plan to have lunch not unless dede is busy signing authograph at at LMS tent...hahahaha

Efrin,
"First come first serve" on the first 100 people to sign up for the Porsche parade lap at the Porscheplatz tent, be there real early to sign up!! I am signing up on Friday morning and Sat may go fast as people arrive. When you arrive go directly to the Porscheplatz tent, you don't have to be in the parking corral to be able go to the tent, it is open to all PCA members.

I will most likely be on the track at lunch time!! lol

From there...back over to the paddock/pit/garage area with the Flying Lizards team before the race starts. Sorry, I will be all over the place..:D
 
by the way...if you see someone wearing a orange Napoleon Dynamite hat...that would be me :cheers:
