Will it work with a non-S boxster? Does it have Boxster S embossed on it or anything else that makes it specific to that model.

What is different about the new style from the old style? I've already chipped up my nose cone and front hood - so I'm not sure what benefit they would provide...but I've always wondered what they would be like.

Are they different than this? Seems like a reasonable deal, given the cost of the silly mirror bra's is something like $29.00+ a piece.

Boxster S Bra and Mirror Covers

What makes this bra specific to the Boxster S rather than the Boxster is the center hole in the bra. There are no other identifying marks or features and there are no graphics on the bra other than the usual hard-to-see Colgan logo embossed on it down low.

The new style vs. the old style - the "new style" bra does not have any vinyl going over the tops of the fenders above the headlights. The old style was like this. I helped Colgan come up with this new style a few years back and it's been far and away the most popular bra for Boxsters and 996s. The bra stays below the headlights and follows the line of the front bumpercover going from one wheelwell to the other wrapping around the front of the car.

Here's a picture of a new style Boxster S bra and mirror covers - note that this is a black vinyl bra - the one for sale is black but it's got the carbon fiber look (embossed weave in black):

The center hole in the bra matches up with the center hole in the Boxster S front fascia. While this is a Boxster S bra, it will fit a standard Boxster (non-S) perfectly.
