Yes I know this posting belongs into the "classified" section, but I have the feeling that no one ever looks there ....

I will be selling my trusted GHL exhaust.
It's currently still on the car, so if anyone is interested and wants to listen to it's magnificent sound "live" send me a private message and we can make an appointment before I'll take it off sometime this or next weekend.

I am asking for
  • either $550 w/o the U-tubes which connect the exhaust with the cats or
  • $600 including the U-tubes (the U-tubes alone are $140 at Porsche)

This is a genuine GHL exhaust for a Boxster S, not a cheap knock-off from eBay
 
If you take a look at the Views count for the Classifieds forum you'll see that stuff people are interested in actually gets seen quite a bit. ;)

What is the reason for selling? Can you describe the exhaust sound as compared with stock?
 
The GHL is known for the following things:

a) IT IS LOUD !!!!!!! and it has a resonance (drone) between 2k and 3k RPM
b) It has a very Ferrari/Maserati like sound , here is a link where you get an idea how it sounds; in real life it actually sounds much better [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIicMwEeElY"]Auto-Cross with PCA at Altamont Speedway - YouTube[/ame]
c) it is one of the few after-market exhausts which actually give you some HP gain (probably around 10 hp)

Why am I selling it?
My wife complains that it's too loud and well, I love my wife more than my exhaust, so the exhaust has to go...

I can vouch for the exhaust. While I have the GHL clone,it's essentially the same thing. These beast are LOUD! Anything above 3.5k and your in heaven! The drone thing really isn't an issue if you blast music while driving.:D

Wow Chris, cant believe your chooseing your wife over your GHL:) That thing sounds awsome! I Guess this explains why im single. I have a B&B exhaust, Also a drone between 2 and 3 thousand rpms enough to make a cat cry. Nothing a few excedrin cant cure........but it all becomes worth it over 3 thousand!

On second thought maybe I will put my stock exhaust back on and get me a woman
