Hi All,

I am a very proud new owner of an '05 Boxster!
Its my first Porsche and I couldn't be happier.:D

The specs: '05 Boxster, <5k miles!, seal grey metalic, black top/int, heated seats, 19" Carrera S wheels, and Bi-Xenons.

I look forward to some track time, maybe autox, and defenitely lots of weekend drives (though I drive it to work every other week!).

Jason

Jason, welcome aboard to Babblers! If you are from San Francisco.........
There is a Pacific Coast Highway Tour that Gerry is hosting on April 14th-15th, come join us either for the day part or over night in Morro Bay. Check it out on the calendar or see the thread PCH1 tour. Also, there is a Boxster Brunch hosted by George & Carol Giralou (PCA - all Porsches welcome) on April 7th at Alice's Restaurant, Skyline Road, Woodside, Ca. it starts at 10:00am till around noontime. Just show up! :):)

Oh yes!

Thanks for the welcome!

I'll give a little background. I'm in S.F. Sunset dist. and am coming from a '75 Fiat 124 Spider. The spider is all tricked out except for paint. It has dual carbs, header, roll bar, brand new koni yellow (sports) shocks, 15x7 Alfa phone dial rims etc. etc. and its for sale.

I've done a some auto-xing in the early 90's in my old (also highly modified) Escort GT. I also did some track time at Thunderhill back then too.

I and my wife are looking forward to some weekend cruises, I'm not sure about overnight, but I'll check our schedule.

I plan on driving the car as much as possible. Every other week my wife and I commute (across town) together. That leaves the other weeks for my daughter and I to drive together! She's going to be pretty tough to live with when it comes time for her to get a license and car (but I have roughly eight more years to prepare!).

Here's a pic of my car.
