I don't mind as long as it's weekends so I could moonlight with my wifey :)

Sounds like fun. How about taking the back roads to Saratoga or Los Gatos for dinner and returning up to Hiway 9 to 35 and down on 84. I hope we can stay awake.:) :) :) George & Carol

Actually that is what I thought too! Or head over to the coast in Half Moon Bay, Princeton By the Sea is another option. Lets keep it open for other suggestions also.

The October Moon always comes up early in the evening!

Uh DeDe...July, August...warm at night. Have you forgotten we live in the Bay Area...fog, wind, etc. :p Weather wise I think late September or October will give you the best chance for good weather
I'm game, and of course so is Sandy.
 
no twisties for me after diner coz' it would be hard to clean up the box after..hehehehehe!

I think you are right! Sept (I am out of town end of Sept) or October would be good. Keep thinking about it !!

I love the idea as long as it's somewhere away from city lights so the stars are bright. But I'll probably come either way just b/c it's been so long since I've seen the gang.

It would be away from city lights. Where are you located in the Bay Area?

easter weekends are awesome..had lunch with my grandparentals and cousins....& dinner @ Bucca Di Beppo...im freaking brke now..ahahahahaha, j/k!

I love weekends...I work for the weekend money to spend :)

Change Of Date For Moonlight Drive

I tenatively posted the Moonlight Porsche Drive 2007 for Saturday, July 28th on the Babblers calendar. The moonrise is 7:52pm and sets at 4:24am This is the fullest moon for a weekend.

More information and confirmed route (Bay Area Peninsula local drive) will follow as time gets closer. I will be searching for a place to have dinner and best area to drive. I am open for any suggestions. There is plenty of time.

If July 28th is not the date it would probably be the harvest moon in October. I will keep you updated. Any questions or ideas let me know.
