WTB: Boxster with blown engine, good 5 spd

I'm looking for a Boxster with a blown engine for an electric car project. It needs to have a 5 speed manual trans in good working order, but like I said, I don't need to motor so I'm looking for a car with a blown one to help keep the price down. Also, I'm in Southern California and prefer to find one here. thanks!
 
What are your plans -- I am working on a similar project
but I am finding the batteries to be way too expensive.
