Looking for a pair of Porsche Red seats in good condition, no tears or gouges. If your replacing yours or parting out a car and have a pair in good condition that will fit a 1999 Boxster please email me. I live in Rohnert Park and would prefer a local pick up (Bay Area, San Jose, Sacramento and etc.) My car currently doesn't have heated seats but as long as they fit it doesn't matter as long as they are reasonably priced. FOUND, PURCHASED AND INSTALLED!!!

Are you really needing new seats (frames foam and all) or do you really just need new red seat covers? I've noticed a few places selling seat cover kits for Boxsters/Carreras although the names of these places escape me right now.

Just curious,

New covers would be fine if you can remember where you saw them.

GAHH sells them: link here But HOLY SMOKES BATMAN they aren't cheap. You may be better off finding seats through a wrecker. Talk to the guys at parts Haven in Hayward.

Try those SpecBoxster sites.... boxsterspec.com boxsterspecracing.com ...

Those guys replaced their seats for race seats. So we maybe lucky to score a pair red ones that they swapped out.

Thanks, they look to be in good shape and the right color. I found a place that has the perforated leather seat covers for $1750 which is not bad but the seats would no longer match the rest of the interior which has faded. Picking up some good used seats may be a better match color wise.

BoxsterBob, thank you, thank you! I picked up both seats with UPS Ground shipping and 9.75% tax for $603! The guy, Efrin, said he was in a good mood and so am I. Yeeehaaaw.
 
Seat Update Bait And Switch

Just got a call from Efrin at that LA dismantlers and he tells me the seats he sold me for the $400 were beaters and his boss won't let him sell the good one's for that price. I hate bait and switch tactics and although the good one's were a good price at $800+tax+shipping I refuse to do business with that kind of tactics. Still thanks anyway BoxsterBob. I'll keep looking.
 
Yep, that's not a good way to do business, if you make a mistake, you need to eat it, or at least come up with a solution that works for both parties, doubling the price is pretty one sided. :(
 
Found purchased and installed!!!

Got 'um, installed 'um don't need 'um anymore!!!
