I have Eibachs with Bilstein SP shocks and the difference is night and day. Love the lowered stance and the handling differences are noticeable. I have a GT-3 nose, which also sits lower than stock.
The combination of the lower nose with the lowering spings makes me more cautious regarding ground clearance and obstructions, but it has become second nature to be more aware of my approach angle. Scraping is inevitable, but I'm willing to make the trade-off for looks and handling.
As far as ride comfort, I believe the combo is better than stock on everything except severely uneven concrete freeway expansion joints. If you have a long commute over this type of road, then it might not be for you. But my wife loves how the car rides, even on 6-8 hour drives.
YMMV
