Stopped at the corner by my house just as the odo on my '06 Boxster turned over 10,000 miles (at least 9,500 of which have been with the top down)! Whipped out my phone and snapped a shot (note the sunshine). I can say truthfully that I've enjoyed every single mile. This is my first Porsche, and it has been nothing but fun!

Congratulations. I just passed 20000 yesterday in my '05, but it never occured to me to take a picture. Wish I had. But every mile has been with the permagrin. And then there are those trips to the garage at night that makes my wife crazy.......;)

15000 and counting.

God, It feels good to come to this group, and realize I am not the only one who babies his car (Guenther). I have like 4 miles till i roll 15k and i was thinking of actually getting and pushing it for awhile, as if the few miles left to go before the odometer rolls up. (sniff sniff, excuse me, i am getting a wee bit misty eyed.)

Ok, i am back now...... This is my first porshe, and I love EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!

For a guy coming from a bouncing oversized jeep wrangler, I love my sweet porsche. Nothing like top down, and in this vehicle, i can actually pass cars without any problem, damn the porschetude is fun to give too...lol.

8,000 miles in Roseville

Yep, just rolled over 8 grand a couple weeks ago. I'm STILL loving the car, my second P-car. Congrats Surf. Probably see you around one of these days since we both live in the same town!

A little more and I'll hit 87,000! Where should I go to celebrate this accomplishment? :D

Congratulations. I just hit 10,000 on my 05. Would probably have a lot more miles if not for the two deployments I have had since I bought the car. Oh well. I will be home in a about 6 weeks and I will hit the road. :D

Is there an idea of what mileage a boxster is good for reliable driving? 100k? 150K? Say 02 and newer. I am looking at buying a used one and trying to focus in on the best deal for my money.

Oh! I wish I could have gone. I had to go to the office today. I made sure I took a quick spin down the 280 and along HWY 1 before I headed into work. :) ... I still have a few more miles to spare before 87,000!!

I never thought about taking a pic at 10k. Now I gotta remember to do it at 20k and write down where I was. My 04 is at about 18.5 now.

1998-986 52k and speeding fast on the big 60k. Best car I have ever owned :D

9500 for me on my 2000

yes.. its a garage queen.

Yes I'm a loser.

Loser? Only if you think about about all the fun you lose out on by not driving the darn thing. ;)
I guess we can't fault you if the car is not in the same time zone as you.
