986S or 996

Spoiler switch installed and functioning.
Switch for OBC hack installed and functioning.

Exhaust is now modified slightly. 1.5" SS mandrel bent tube now installed between the inlet to the muffler and the exhaust pipe just before the exhaust tip. Has a nice bark to it now just like a PSE for pennies on the dollar.
At idle and constant speed it sounds just about like stock, but crowd it a bit and it sounds very healthy now. No resonance at cruising speeds either. A great mod.
Now I just need to drive the darn thing!
Check out this page for the sound and what it looks like.

What I did is exactly the same as you see on this page.;)

Just to keep some Boxster content, I have a very close friend ( 26+ years), that just purchased a 2000 BoxS with hard top! 34k miles:D
Guards red with savanah beige interior, 18" turbo twists, in pristine condition!
This is his 45th, yes forty five, Porsche!

So how many does he still have

Just the Boxster...during the time I have known him the most he had owned at once was 6.
3 of those were original 914-6s at the same time.:D

Loving the modified exhaust! Now it sounds like a proper Porsche.:D

Still waiting to pick up my set of 18s.

Next will be some specific suspension mods;)

new wheels installed....now the car looks a bit more proper!:D

285x30x18s on 10" rears
225x40x18s on 7.5" fronts

Got a new set of stock 7&9 x17s for my AX/track wheels.
These were taken off a 996 back in 99 and boxed up and stored. They are perfect....not a mark on them.
Scored a set of Porsche Crest center caps that were badly oxidized...took about 1/2 hour of elbow grease and some polishing compound...they now look like they belong on the new track wheels.
New perfect wheels and center crest caps for $400. That is less than I sold the original 17s for, and they were less than perfect! :)
