I just purchased a 2003 5-speed Boxster w/20,000 miles. The car is in perfect condition. I've got two minor issues. The AC shows the temperature in Celsius and the time is shown in 24hr format. The owners manual only describes how to change these features through the on-board computer. Unfortunately, my Boxster does not have an on-board computer. Can anyone tell me: 1. how to change the AC display from Celsius to Farenheit; and 2. how to change the time from 24hr (military time) to the standard 12hr format? Thanks to all!

Switching from KM to Miles is covered on pgs 70 and 71 of the MY03 Owner's Manual.

Converting from Celsius to Farenheit took a trip to the dealer in prior years (or at least someone with a PST2) and may still.

To switch the clock between 12-hour and 24-hour modes w/o OBC probably takes a dealer visit as well.

Tom is correct about KM to miles and hour formats. For the Temperature readout that can be done through the AC Control panel.
Press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the temperature up ("+") button to switch between degrees Celsius & Fahrenheit on the Climate Control Temperature and Instrument Panel Outside Temperature displays.

The time format 12 hour or 24 hour requires a PST2 (or PIWIS tester).

Thanks for the info Loren. I knew when I posted my answer regarding the A/C temp stuff that it didn't seem right but I couldn't remember how it was done and it doesn't seem to be documented in the MY03 Owner's Manual.

I have a 2004 Boxster S and the Re-circ together with the + key doesn't seem to work. Any help???
