For those of you who don't know me my name is Alden Flint and I own a shop in Campbell. I've worked at Porsche of Fremont and Carlsen Porsche and am Porsche factory certified without the Dealership expense. I'm planning to hold an event at my shop in the Fall and Spring. $179 for a 15k/20k service $99 oil changes and $75 brake fluid flushes. We'll start at 9am, do some grilling, drink some soda and maybe even BEER...for some of you. Post it here if you're coming! Feel free to ask any questions.

I wish it will be a different date.

There is a PCA-GGR autocrossing (Alameda) on Sept 26th.

Still working on this with the folks up at F-J. They were working on having a number of Panamera in at the next event, so I know that was occupying a lot of their time and affecting the "when" for an actual date. Should hear something back soon.

So did I just pick the single day that nobody will be able to come? I'm open to other dates if it will bring in more people. Any suggestions?

Also I want to mention that this event is open to everyone even if you don't need any work done. Feel free to come check out the shop, enjoy some food, and see what your car looks like up on a lift.
 
I'd like to know if your date is going to change or will it stay the 26th. If you'd like, I can announce it on PlanetPorsche as well. (hope it's okay with the forum rules for me to say that)
 
Announcing it on PlanetPorsche would be great! So far you are the only person who can come so the date is pending...

Since you ask :) , Oct 24/25 or Oct31/Nov1 should work for me (as in, I'll be in the bay area those days).

In any case, I'm sure there will be a few folks that haven't posted but may just show up on the 26th.
 
I am open most of the rest of Sept (except next weekend Sept 19/20) and October. Since you replaced my coolant tank, my car is running like a champ, but perhaps we can put on car care day/shrimp boil at the Flintworks HQ. Let me talk to the Shrimp Boil aficionados, Kevin and Dede.

I'm still sad that we had to do sandwiches at our Giants game.

Well, if we can get a large enough crowd, I'm happy gather up the gear from Kevin and follow his recipe. It is REALLY good stuff! Let's get the word out!

Alden, are you the guy driving the Benz, handed me a business card that I met in the corner of Saratoga and Prospect (76 Gas Station) with my son? I think about a month ago or so....

The Box is gonna be due for change oil..pretty soon :-)

Nope, that wasn't me however I'd be happy to service your car.
 
Okay let's push the date back one week and shoot for Oct 3rd. This will give us time to work on the shrimp boil which sounds delicious!
