SOLD!!!: Turbo Style Wheels for 987

I have sold these wheels (yea!). I still have my stock mufflers for sale.....anyone?????

997.1 Turbo style wheels taken off of my Boxster Spyder (It was ordered from the factory with these optional wheels). Pulled them off with about 800 miles on the car. I have listed the part descriptions, part numbers, and the Porsche prices below:

Front: 8J x 19 ET 57 997.362.156.02 23 pounds ($1958 List; ~$1200 Net)

Rear: 9.5J x 19 ET 46 997.362.158.08 24.5 pounds ($2069 List; ~$1280 Net)

Wheels include valve stems, but no TPMS sensors.

Fits 987 Boxster and Cayman.

Porsche description:
"Straight from the awesome 911 Turbo, this five-pointed star forged aluminum alloy wheel employs a lightweight multi-ribbed design. The forging results in optimal weight, strength, and a high resistance to deformation. Distinctive two-tone finish brings additional character."

Also included are a set of the polished black crest center caps that go with these wheels: 997.361.305.00 ($58.57 List; ~$36 Net each)

Also have available a set of Porsche 5mm wheel spacers that were used with these wheel on my car: 997.361.605.90 ($71.70 List; ~$51 Net each). First dibs on the spacers goes to the wheel purchaser - if they don't go with the wheels, I will sell separately.

Condition: As I stated, these were on the car for about 800 miles (2 weeks?) until I received my Spyder wheels. Condition is excellent - essentially new with the original tires having been mounted and then dismounted. One exception (darn it!) that I found when cleaning them - one front has a small scratch on the face on a spoke near a lug hole (see pic).

Pricing: See Porsche prices above (!) Suncoast will sell you a set of these wheels with tires and valve stems (obviously) for $4995. Allowing $1300 for a tire set (as per Tire Rack), the wheels/stems are worth about $3700. I am pricing my set at $2,000 PLUS Shipping which includes the center caps. If you want the spacers, I'll throw them in for nothing extra.

If you are in the Monterey or South San Francisco Bay Area, I can deliver these to you.....otherwise the wheels are in boxes and ready to go!

Give me a shout and we can work a deal out for YOU!

I looked around to figure the wheel size of a 2000 S.
Stock 17" wheels are 7" wide ET 55 front and 8.5" wide ET 50 rear.
Optional 18" wheels are 7.5" wide ET 50 (or 52?) front and 9" wide ET 52 rear.

Short answer is that my 987 wheels will fit - HOWEVER some tweaking with spacers may (or may not) be needed to ensure adequate clearance with the struts. I found that the online wheel fitment calculators will give you an idea of the differences - typically the differences in clearance are 0.5" or less.

I saw posts where people have wider wheels than these on 986 Boxsters, so the ultimate width is no problem.

Let me know if you'd like to see the wheels. I'll be up in your area on Sunday mid-morning if that is convenient for you.
