Finally purchased my first Porsche, a 99 Boxster, only took me 52 years! She is in good shape but needs some TLC. Silver, black top and terra cotta interior. Also have a silver HT for it. I have always been a "car guy". Hope to make some new friends here and trade Boxster stories.

I second Rons comment. You cant go wrong with a silver P-Car..

Congrats on your first Porsche!
The 1999 cars' red interior is the Boxster Red, not the Terracotta.
The Arctic Silver/Boxster Red/Black Top is the quintessential Boxster.

If you like to work on cars, then you'll find the forums valuable resources for how to diagnose problems and how to fix / upgrade items. Three other things really help:

  1. Durametric diagnostic cable for troubleshooting
  2. Bentley's Boxster service manual
  3. Pelican Parts 101 Boxster projects book

Just google / ebay these items to find good deals.
