Hi,

does anyone remember if you MUST pre-purchase your tickets for the historics or can you buy them on-site?

All orders are now being held for pick up at will call.

Will Call information will be provided with the internet confirmation you receive after placing your order as well as with Ticket Order Confirmation from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Ticket Office on the next business day.

usually Saturday is the best day.
But it's still tentative for me, that's why I was hoping I could get the tickets on-site and wouldn't have to to will call

Will call is at

the Embassy Suites in Seaside, if I remember correctly.

I will be there all 3 days.

I will also be parking in the corral with my slightly damaged 2002 S. A person backed into my car with a suburban with a bike rack the other day:(. Not to bad but not enough time to get it repaired for the event.

I'll be there with my folks Wednesday evening through Saturday. My father and I will both be in the corral while where there. Also we'll both be test driving the Panamera Thursday morning...should be interesting.

Anyone else signed up for "the drive" that the Monterey chapter is coordinating sometime Thursday? Also I've been told the special dinner event on Friday is the place to be (not totally sure why).

I made it to the Historics yesterday (Sunday).
Man that was nice and worth the trip :)

I ran into a few fellow A/X and TT ers
Who else was out there this weekend?
I passed a silver Boxster with a rear wing on the way back towards San Jose (when the traffic jam finally started clearing) - member of this board?

I was there all 3 days. Ran into george g, Kevin from GGR, Jeremy (RaisedOn Porsches) and his family, Peter Smith LPR, Joe (ff42racer), and a few others.
It was great!!!

I just heard that my wusband (the ex) crashed on Saturday when a car spun in front of him. He drives a red convertible D (speedster but with roll up windows for the non 356ers) He's driven there many times and often wins. The car is damaged badly but repairable. Anybody there see that? Jeanne T

Hello Jeanne...I remember hearing about that incident when it was announced on Saturday. I will check thru my pictures tonight and see if I have anything. I probably took a pic of his car during the weekend. I did see that speedster! :)
Sorry about the damaged car!

Thanks, I'd appreciate seeing some, Dedes. I got to drive that car in a Bob Bondurant driving session in 1982 when Porsche was the marque that year. I saw a guy who had rolled in the corkscrew puking over the guard rail, and I remembered I had a 3 month old baby sleeping in the front of my 912, so I quit a couple of laps early, but that was sure great fun.

What number is on the car..... #19?

According to the entry list it was 149. Group 4

Hi Jeanne, I haven't forgotten you. Hopefully I will have all my photos uploaded (over 1,300) on Flickr by tonight. Takes time to upload that many, plus I haven't had much time to go thru them all to edit/delete.
When I do finish, I plan on posting the link to share here. I believe I do have pictures of #149 speedster in the paddock area.
So, stay tuned. :)

thanks. I'll be patient. I did hear he was hit by a friend of his who got off track and over corrected on the turn before you go up the hill. Bummer
