Eric Ross is a cozy winery in the heart of Sonoma that believes great wine starts in the vineyard. That in a nutshell reflects the passion of the vineyard crew, winemaker and the soul of great terroir.
Founded in 1993, after years honing this concept, Eric works with a limited number of greatly respected wine growers that live by the philosophy of producing complex fruit that is reflected in the glass.
Come experience the difference at the Eric Ross Tasting Room in Glen Ellen with a fun day of driving, wine tasting, barbecue pot luck and find out why the Eric Ross Rooster Strutted across the road.
We will meet for the Eric Ross Wine Tour at Kal's Kaffee Mocha, in Santa Rosa, at 10 a.m. Saturday July 2nd. At 10:30 a.m. our group will be led by Kurt Fischer for a delightful backroads drive to the Eric Ross Tasting Room where Eric will explain his unique process of wine making and what sets his wines apart.
Please bring your favorite dish for the potluck, the main course will be barbecued chicken and the cost is $5 per person.
When you arrive at Eric Ross Winery please prepare to back into the parking lot. Eric was a photographer with the San Francisco Chronicle for 30 years and would love to craft a photo of everyone standing next to their Porsche.
