Weather at the Summit:
There is an automated weather station that will report wind and temperature within a 15 minute period. Call 1-925-838-9225. (Don't forget about the wind chill factor. )

Rendezvous - choice of 3 meeting places

(A) San Mateo - Bridgepointe Center Meeting Place - Ice Skating Rink parking lot - departs 9:00am

(B) Hayward Meeting Place - Eden Plaza Industrial Parking Lot, Clawiter Road Exit off Hwy 92 arrive 9:15am departs 9:20am approximately

Note correction off Hwy 880: The exit off of 880 is actually onto Hwy 238 East. 238 East transitions to 580 at the Castro Valley "Y" which is about 1.5-2 miles from the 880 interchange. Once 238 becomes 580 the Crow Canyon exit comes up shortly thereafter. :eek: Sorry for the missing bit of detail there. Thanks to Paralizer!!

I would love to be the lead car but not familiar with the place :) plus, I have a leaded right foot :D

Oh yah, BTW...wifeys name is Elena (she's a shy type when it comes to event like this)

hey dede..since you are the thread started, in order to get easily view the list of attendees, I suggest you put the sign up sheet and the meeting spot on the first thread and continue to update it as people sign up...

please sign me up and possibly 2 other boxsters (986 and 987) for meeting in san mateo..thanks!
