The pics posted earlier in this thread of the prior Mt Diablo run, were those from the time we joined up with the S2000 club?

Count me in (I'll come to the San Mateo meeting point)
I'm having an upgraded intake and ECU program installed tomorrow so this will be a good chance to wind it out a bit and see what it can do. :D

Good memory. The picture is a view from my car to Bruce and beyond. There's a S2K right behind me ;)

Charlie (and Sara) @ San Ramon.

Looking forward to meeting you guys for the first time, finally!

cool! It's my first time meeting everybody too :)

Note correction off Hwy 880: The exit off of 880 is actually onto Hwy 238 East. 238 East transitions to 580 at the Castro Valley "Y" which is about 1.5-2 miles from the 880 interchange. Once 238 becomes 580 the Crow Canyon exit comes up shortly thereafter. Sorry for the missing bit of detail there. Thanks to Paralizer!!

Hi, Steve. Please let us know how the mods perform. Seat of the pants dyno results are credible. ;)

Thanks,

A quick update... if someone is running late coming that way (from across the bay), you can go straight on 580E till you hit 680 in Pleasanton - take 680N. Crow Canyon is the 3rd exit on 680, about 5 miles north of 580/680 junction. It should save you at least 10-15 minutes taking the freeway.

I'm not sure about my schedule on 3/10 - but if possible (should know as we get closer), I will join everyone at the San Ramon meeting place.

(P.S. You're not new to everyone, Gerry. We met at the East Bay drive from Walnut Creek to San Ramon, thru Livermore a while back - will be good to see you again).

wow, im surprised :) I remember that drive, that's the East Bay drive w/ Robyn C! I think I will remember you if I see you again, Im bad at names..hehehehehe! If my wife is not going, I might take my son again!
hopefully, we'll see you there!

Thanks akif...............
For the update if someone is running late to not take Crow Canyon Road Exit but continue on 580 East to 680 North to San Ramon meeting place.

hey, snaxster! are you going? I didn't see your name on the list :)

The first post is updated with a revised document to print out (fixed with Paralizer's driving instructions). The forum only allows a maximum of 48kb *.doc attachments, and mine was 49.5kb (which I could not reduce).... so I zipped it. If the limit was higher for DOC files, there would be no need for a confusing ZIP file, and would make things a lot easier for people to quickly download/view/print the document.

Thanks!

Thanks Gerry! Since this is my first time every doing a car tour, any suggestions are appreciated from past experience.

F.Y.I. everyone, here is a useful phone number to call for automated weather information close to March 10th.

Weather at the Summit:
There is an automated weather station that will report wind and temperature within a 15 minute period. Call 1-925-838-9225. (Don't forget about the wind chill factor. )

Maps of Meeting Places

Hey BoxsterBob,
If your U2 Spy plane is out and about, would you be willing to submit the aerial views of the meeting places like the one you did of San Mateo meeting place? If & when you have the time on the newest thread please.
Thanks if it's not too much trouble. :):):)
