Seeking Standard Boxster Rear View Mirror

I am intrigued by those nifty mirrors that show the V1 display. I am thinking that I will carve up an otherwise perfectly good mirror and see if I can make it go. Just want the standard style like the one that came in my 2000 S.

For a true practice mirror how about going to the local auto parts place and picking up a generic one to practice on? Probably be a lot cheaper.
