I'll play. Carrera Sports Design. They are 19x8 and 19x9.5, currently running Michelin PS2s (235/35 19, 265/35/19), but I'll probably be going to Contis soon due to lack of PS2 availability.

Nice! I don't think I've seen those Cayman wheels on a 986 before. What sizes (wheels/tires/offsets/spacers) are those?

OK, my turn. After noticing BoxS2000 not only has the same year/model Boxster as mine, we even have the same wheels. I think mine are ET45/48 F&R. Tires are 235/40 and 285/30. Pics are a tad old (I was upgrading from my Turbo Look 18s which are nice looking but heavy).

Wow..never knew they made a rack like that..is it oem?

Where are you guys buying your Champion wheels from? They are starting to grow on me more and more.

I got mine off eBay a few years ago. I'm not even sure Champion makes them in 986 sizes anymore, but their website is/was terrible. It's best to contact them directly to see if they are still made. The wheels are expensive (like other custom forged wheels), but they are light and strong. Wheel Enhancement sells them as do a few Porsche dealers, or you can scout the classifieds and eBay if you're not in a hurry. I like mine a lot except when it comes time to clean them.

I really Like those Champion wheels. Very nice. As for my Cayman wheels. Im not running spacers. Wheel enhancement said I would have to. But I opted to go ahead and not screw with the offset any more then I already have. There tight, but work fine. No rubbing. So no need for spacers on my 99. There 18s and Im running Ps2's right now. I cant remember the exact size. I will get back to you on that:confused:
The Rack is an OEM product. Porsche wanted something obscene for it, but I picked mine up on ebay for a 1/4 the price ($200). I have the bike attachment as well. For anyone who has one or cares. I found that Porsche uses the same slide attachment as Thule racks. My surfboard attachment was like $50. Where Porsche wanted over 200? This may apply for all attachments? I dont know, just a thought.

Champion no longer makes RG5 in 18" for the 986, they are only available in 19" This is per the Wheel Enhancement. I'm not sure about other Champion wheels for the 986, give them a call they are great.

That is what I wished I had, 18" Cayman wheels with PS2's, what I have is 17" Boxster wheels with PS2's...

How is the clearance on the 285's? My rear tires are worn and I was thinking about running that setup, but my offsets are et50 front and et55 rears...i think...my rears are almost flush to my fender (no spacers) , no scrapping and my car is lowered by 1" any issues?
