My first Porsche club event wasn’t that successful due to the fact that I was seating at the wrong side of the restaurant and all of you were at the back side. But I really enjoyed seeing your cars. we'll catch up next time.

#173/250 .... yes I know I was one of the very first to order one of these (yes I specified my car rather than buy off the lot) and to take delivery but I had no idea (nor indeed cared really) of what number I would end up with.

As a note there are some less than honest owners/dealers trying to make an extra buck out of having one with a number < 10. The same is true for the cayman PD1. I still think it is a great car for the money and I prefer this edition over the RS60.

Hi,
Mine is #22/250 got it 2 months ago.
One of the dealers in the bay area tried to make an extra buck on me and eventually sold the car to the highest bidder while I put a hold on the car. I was very disappointed to see that the car gone to the highest bidder instead of the person that agreed to buy it (me). I was about to complain to Porsche, but didn’t have the time to deal with it.
Luckily I found another one at “Carlsen Porsche”, there were no monkey business there. I even got it $3,000 below MSRP
