Good point. The fact that the 'mod' is not reversible (should one get tired of the exhaust sound or spouse complaintsGlad somebody said something, cuz I thought it was high at $400 to rip apart a stock muffler and put it back on again.
No special parts... no real weight reductions... I can get a nice sound change from a Maxspeed Motorsports for ab out the same price and save a lot of weight in the process
Don't get me wrong... I don't doubt that it's taken some work to figure out how to get it right or that there's workmanship involved or stuff like that... just seems stupidly high to me for what you're getting in teh end, which is ( by all accounts) *just* a sound enhancement.
wel I found another guy who does the the muffler modding out of the (925) area code for $275.00 if you do the R&R yourself or plus $120.00 for the R&R. its this mod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv_ljlNOe7M&feature=related
here is the link I have a chance to buy this for $350.00 shipped to my door. http://www.topspeedauto.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=1781
